Once again Monday has arrived. This is the last of 3 days rest (conference generally means we watch and try to do a little bit of work, so it's pretty much rest). Having conference here is a bit of a different experience, since it starts pretty early (9am) and is finished by 7pm on Saturday, and 3pm on Sunday. In fact, the change in time makes dinner an after-preisthood session kind of thing. We have a Chinatown-like section in our area. I'm in the field now. I'm serving in the South District in the South Zone of the mission--my area is Hacienda Heights/Laurelwood. We're right next to the strip (which is no-mans-land... I don't think it's in either mission). My Trainer is Elder Dahl. He's from Palmer, Alaska, and has been out for just shy of 9 months. I'm a second child (aka E.
