Yep, I'm getting transfered. Not too far--the Lakes Stake (where I'm going) and the Spring Mountain Stake (where I am) border each other, although I'm going to the north end of the stake. My new zone is a lot smaller--only one stake, everything is in Vegas, and around 10 missionaries (I didn't do a very thorough count at Transfer Calls--more about that later). Most people would leave the exclamation off, but we've had rain for the past few days. It's pretty awesome, since it's only really rained once since I got here (that's around 16 weeks now...). Sunday had a pretty big downpour when I was going from Hacienda to Twain (we've been doing splits for meetings on Sunday), although it ended pretty quickly. It's been raining for around an hour now, which is nice--it should have a more lasting effect on the temperature (95 is considered cool right now). Not the best of weeks last week. Not actually a terrible week. Kinda long though. Thursday morning was a little difficult--our one solid investigator moved a little ways, and is in a different zone now. The baptism is still on for this Saturday, and she's read the Book of Mormon and Doctrine & Covenants all the way through. We made sure she got picked up ok by the Elders there (Elder Wonnacott & Elder Francis (brand new missionary)). A little annoying, but still good. That, of course, brought us to 0 with dates set. Ok, so this week has been quite the roller coaster. Lots of interesting stuff. I'm not exactly sure what to start with... I guess I'll start with Monday. Last Monday we played volleyball & basketball for P-Day (mainly volleyball, which we mixed up a little by covering the net). Pretty quiet day. Well, Tuesday was a pretty good day. We had Zone Meeting, which was pretty fun. We're focusing on using the Book of Mormon more, and we're expecting some pickup in the next month or so--South Zone usually does well during the summer, and we can see some of ...

So, the one thing that I didn't completely catch about transfer calls is that the car was leaving. In case you're wondering, Koeven and Evans are two very different names. So, we're back to bike. Joy. Actually, things haven't been too bad. Evans was in Hacienda from early June until late September (or something like that) last year. On bike.
